Botulinum toxin is a naturally occurring substance and it can be used as an effective and powerful medication. An injection of this medication will effectively weaken the muscle for a period of three to four months. In cosmetic applications, a Botox ( Xeomin ) injection, consisting of a small dose of botulinum toxin, can be used to prevent development of wrinkles or soften the appearance of them. Other brands such as Dysport and Xeomin containing the same type of botulinum toxin have been developed and are used too.We can complement the Botox treatment with Dermal Fillers. These usually help the nasolabial groove areas. Treatment with Botox usually lasts 3 months and Dermal Fillers usually last 6 months.We are also able to do a more permanent wrinkle removal with Stem Cell Therapy, providing longer wrinkle relief. Botox or Xeomin will last 3-4 months, while Stem Cell therapy PRP might last several years. The alternative is to do a facial CLEAR PRP treatment.
